Hi. I'm working on text for a book in MS word, but when I copy/paste it into finale to put above exercises it loses all the formatting and stretches across multiple pages. I then have to manually click 'return/enter' at the end of each line to get it to fit. Is there a way to get it to fit the text box or wrap automatically to text box size? I'm on the newest version of Finale for mac V27, and I'm using both Mohave and Big Suroperating systems.  thanks

ie. when I paste a paragraph from MS word in finale this is what happens. This is a long paragraph and finale won't let me scroll to the right far enough to even see where it ends.

Actually I think I may have solved the problem by drawing the text box first to size, then pasting the text. However there seems to some sort of bug in the MAC version where when you attempt to resize the text box the cursor disappears, so you don't know how big/small any changes you are making are.

I’ve run into the same thing, and it’s a pain. My workaround is to use returns to fit the text back onto the page.

Joel a real text editor would be nice. MM doesn't think so, so there you are!
