You should be able to set the start measure in the playback settings (the sound-settings icon on the playback bar). Worth a try, anyway.
I am using Finale 25 on Windows 10, as you might notice in my first question. I have perhaps found an answer: I apparently need to reset Rewire and then restart Finale.

Thank you, Adrian. I do have the correct menu. However, Audio Setup is grayed out and is not available. I am trying to find out if I can make it available.
