An update -- if I resize the tool bar, the tools are there. BUT, they don't show at all resizings -- only certain sizes of the palette show all the tools. If I make the Main palette one tool wide, ...

Same problem. Only have about half of the tools on the Main palette (no articulation, no layout, and so on), and only two tools on the Smart Shapes palette.
