Thanks, Mike. I guess with your help...and the grace of God....I fixed it. I went to the Lyrics Window and noticed that there was an extra line with the word "is" ..and deleted that word. Bill
Mike, When I turn auto-number off, the word "Is" [the first word of verse 4] appears [though the 4 disappears]
