Thanks for the response. I was putting in a piece that had sextuplets earlier and I think I just got tuplets on the brain :-)

I'm trying to enter an octuplet in Finale for a piece in 4/4 (the octuplet gets one beat). I'm sorry this is such a newbie question, I'm on a Mac running Big Sur and latest Finale (26.3.1)
