I'm trying to enter an octuplet in Finale for a piece in 4/4 (the octuplet gets one beat). I'm sorry this is such a newbie question, I'm on a Mac running Big Sur and latest Finale (26.3.1)
Welcome to the forum! … in 4/4 (the octuplet gets one beat) … If I understand you correctly, you mean 8 notes in the space of one Quarter - right? No need for a tuplet in this case. Just enter 32nds.
Thanks for the response. I was putting in a piece that had sextuplets earlier and I think I just got tuplets on the brain :-)
