that's got to be part of the problem..... I do NOT have a backup of the full score in Finale ..... however, the problem started when I copied the full scores to an audio file and then pasted that ...

for each song I have multiple parts (5 singers, keyboard and voice, string quartet, bass guitar, etc). each of the individual scores playback fine ... but my complete score (all parts together) ...
