I would use Bookmarks. Finale’s feature Bookmarks lets you include zoom percentage and view mode (Scroll View, Page View) in the bookmark.

In that case I would create a system of only those two measures, and adjust that system’s Left/Right margins to get a system width that matches “the space used in the doc that will go to”.
