3. I couldn't find an updated driver for my Yamaha Motif6 so I am using a Roland A-49.

I just purchased from (of course) Amazon an 88-key keyboard contriller for around $100 bucks.  The say that it i "hot plug supported" and so can be attached with a USB cable.  It only cost about $1...
