It looks as though the solfege template is using a different default music font. Check both docs to see what fonts are involved.

What is the problem with the true black (or not)? I know it’s been commented on, but I didn’t pay much attention. Was it something about commercial print shops?

No. Download the demo. You should do that anyway, before you purchase, to make sure it works for you.

Could you do the XML import and conversion, and then delete notes and rests to create a new blank document?

I really don’t have any major complaints. A couple of quibbles, but nothing critical. Of course, I don’t do anything complex.

Follow-up: Mostly, just lyrics attached to the wrong line of notes. All fixed!

Steven, I’m curious about your take on the lyric tool. I certainly haven’t seen any long-requested (and long-promised) improvements, but I haven’t seen any backsliding, either, over the past decade.
