Just take a screen shot. You can post that.
Paul, try exporting the problem score as XML, and importing it back into Finale. This will often clear up corruption.
Still not sure. Can you post a picture?
What is the source of your XML?
Are you entering notes from the computer keyboard? If so, un-check Use MIDI Device for Input.
Have you restarted the computer? Recreated the preference file?
Could it be your template? I just set up a test using Setup Wizard with Guitar and TAB, changed the font from Broadway to Jazz, and it worked fine.
Do the other SmartShapes work correctly?
According to Mr. Google, the RAM is soldered to the motherboard. So, probably not.
Has it worked in the past? What version of Windows? Any recent Windows upgrades? Have you rebooted the computer? Recreated the preference files?
