I'm using my guitar template which uses Handwritten Style(Jazz Font). Through Score Manager, I added the Tablature staff. Using Document-->Manage Parts, I created a New Part that groups the Guitar Part with the Tab staff, called it Gtr Tab. 

Now, whether in Edit Score or Edit Part, I can't Copy/Paste the notes into the Tab staff. I chose Edit Filter to choose All, and the Copy/Paste does nothing. I can use Speedy Entry Tool into the Tab staff, but then have to move the notes with Simple Entry Tool to get them on the correct strings. What's up with Tablature these days?
