That's only necessary if you want to add material to the site. Do you have something to add? If you just want to download a plug-in, no registration is needed.

Many/most/all programs automatically update the file associations. Much to my surprise (not) Finale doesn’t seem to do so.

You need to reset the file association. Right-click on one of the files, and choose Get Info. In the next window, go to Open With... and navigate to Finale 26. Set this to open all similar files.

You can't do what you want in PrintMusic, only the full Finale. You could change the time signature, but you couldn't hide it.

Set up a new document in the handwritten style, copy and paste.
