Upgrade to F26. You will still be able to work with your 2014.5 documents. Or, set up a bootable drive with High Sierra, and use that with the older Finale.

I don't think 2014.5 will run on Mojave. (Sorry, I didn't see that earlier.) You should consider upgrading.

How are you changing the tempo?

If it was the TG Tools Lite that comes with Finale, you might have to reinstall. If it was the Pro version, you can get it at https://www.tgtools.com/index-en.htm

As always, if something used to work, but now it doesn't, try restarting the computer. What OS are you running?

Not dumb; I suspect we've all done it by accident at some point. Check the playback controls to see if Scrolling Playback is checked.

Thanks, George. So I wonder if the file was worked on in Cakewalk, or if it’s just file confusion?
