You might try clearing MIDI data. Sometimes, things just seem to sneak in. Select the score > right click > Clear Selected Items... In the next frame, select only the MIDI data (upper right) and OK.

Maybe what is needed is a line of text in the playback controls, next to the tempo marking: THIS IS FOR INITIAL TEMPO. ANY ADDITIONAL TEMPO CHANGES MUST BE DONE WITH EXPRESSIONS.

In order to get a serial number, you have to purchase the program. Without the number, the program will still work, but not print or save, after the trial period is up.
