Do the characters show in a viewer like PopChar? Did you purchase the font directly from Adobe? Please add the program and version you are using to your signature, in the user control panel.

I suspect they are word extensions. That’s often a problem with multiple verses. Did you have the lyrics assigned to different verses?

Actually, the scroll view shows the piece as one system extended (which may be what JAV meant.) But in any case, the solution is, as he said, staff sets.

I think 2014.5 is not supported in High Sierra. You may need to update to Finale 25, or roll back to OS 10.12.
