Log in to your Finale account. Choose My Account > My Software. You can download the software from there.

If I remember correctly, you can do it in the Instrument List. What changes are you seeing? I can’t imagine what would be changing the notes.

Turn off any anti-virus software before downloading. Also, what browser are you using? IIRC, IE has had some issues.
