Can’t you do the Alphanotes as a staff style? Then you could have it (or not) wherever you wanted..

I am a Mac user, and I don't use Finale's built-in export, either. I use the Graphics tool > Export Pages > as PDF.

Tracy, do you mean that you want to see both the original key and the concert pitch in the same doc, but on two staves?

Can you save to the desktop, and then upload to Drive?

Check for a .bak file. And set autosave. You might also want to try resetting your preferences.

Ah. But aren't there ways to put a white-filled background behind certain objects? There is an option to have TAB numbers break the staff lines, which is sort of the same thing.

I think you would start with 8 staves: guitar/TAB repeated 3 more times. Group each “part.” Do your composition in scroll view (that’s just my opinion!) Then, when you create parts, you should get ...
