Have you tried using the mixer, lowering the level of the accordion?
The 8th note triplets should be in layer 1. I would use layer 1, voice 2 to enter in the middle C quarter notes. The whole notes should be entered in layer 2.
Most of what I see could be automated in a Finalescript. It's a tool which takes some time to understand so be prepared to put some time into it.
