For what I do, concert band stuff, Finale 27 has worked well. I hear ya, but if you want it go ahead and get now. You can always do the maintenance updates as they come out.

Peter do you know if Dorico or Sibelius asks the same question? Just curious. The only possible other question I see useful is "keyless".

Mike I have Windows 10. Finale does save musx files to the correct folder so it should save to templates to the template specified folder.
