My recollection is that the Finale audio track takes MP3 or WAV import files; it is not set up for live input. If I am mistaken, no doubt someone will tell me.

I suspect the click is following the setting of the metronome, and I think 6/8 clicks two (dotted-quarter) beats to the measure.

Are you notating in Concert pitch or Transposed? And because guitar transposes at the octave, Finale may expect you to enter notes at the written pitch regardless.
