Have you re-scanned for VST's in MIDI/Audio > Device Setup? I'd try that first.
Best option I have found is to use the Edit Filter to copy just the chord symbols a staff at a time to any other staff desired.

Your best bet, although that's the only option you currently have. In the Edit Menu > Preferences...
