I make user errors all the time, but my results on a test case are pretty much what Peter relates.

I have never experienced that on my Windows machine. Hope you can find out how to stop it.

If one hasn't already formatted linked parts, one can just us Manage Parts to regenerate all of them (which will delete existing parts before creating the new ones).

When I create new parts for my score in the Score Manager, I don't have to copy anything. I may need to edit the linked parts, but the music from the full score is already there.

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. If you have watched the nature of Finale's updates in recent years, you will not expect this infinite-repeat suggestion to be included any time soon.

One can use repeat signs and tell Finale how many times to repeat, which could be a rather large number if I recall correctly.

No need to uninstall: just re-install as Peter suggests and be sure not to end the install process before the additional Garritan install option appears.

I, myself, have never experienced this. Now if you are using the trial, which does not come with the Garritan sounds, then are you exclusively playing back through MIDI, or are you connecting Final...
