Sadly, Finale is not able to do what you had hoped. You would have to write the chords out i the rhythm you want.

I would have you stick with F 26 for production but get F 27 to practice on so, when the change becomes necessary, you can transition as smoothly as possible.

The PDF option in Print on a Mac is a Mac OS option. I doubt Finale can have any say in how it works.

My Mac shows a PDF button in the lower left of the Print panel.

Since there is an Export > PDF in Finale's Windows File menu, I am guessing you are using a Mac. Doesn't the Mac have its own Print to PDF capability?
