Your results are not typical. I am sorry you are having trouble. The current (Windows) version of the Aria Player is 1.959 and the version of the Aria engine is 1.967.

Is this a new install? If so, did you download the Garritan sounds as well as the player? In some cases the sounds files are a separate install in the Finale install package.

appData is a hidden folder IIRC; so you may have to tell Windows to "Show Hidden Folders" before you can open it.
