I was just guessing that perhaps if the player is greyed out in a given strip, then Logic might not save the contents. I haven't tested it.

That's certainly a workaround (and useful for setting up other documents), but saving the Logic file as a template should preserve the contents of ARIA, without any need to save the ensemble in ARI...
