I have a new MacBook Pro M1 Pro. and have narrowed down the cause for extremely high processor usage, to the CFX Grand. I only load the lighter version, as to decrease the load, but that has not helped. With no other tracks enabled, and the CFX track idle, my proc monitor is hovering above half way. My MacBook, which is normally very cool to the touch, is very warm when I'm running the CFX. I use Digital Performer, but have tried Logic with similar results. Is there a newer version of the Vi that I should be using? Appreciate any thoughts on how I can alleviate this issue. It causes occasional hiccups and glitches when I'm working. thanks
