What is the best way to write two or more independent time signatures for each hand in a piano score, so that the eight notes stay aligned and the bar lines are staggered? I have tried Staff Tool - click on Independent elements, Time Signature; and got to have to separate time signatures, but the barlines are still connected through the grand staff and the eighth notes do not align.
