If you transpose by changing the key signature, then the chord symbols will transpose as well.

If you transpose via the Utilities menu, then notes and chord symbols are transposed in two different operations.

Notes are transposed via

Utilities menu > Transpose…

Chord symbols are transposed via

Utilities menu > Change > Chords…
