I'm running Finale 25 under Windows 10.  I've just completed an SATB arrangement, and now I'd like to save each voice separately as an audio file for rehearsal purposes.  The instructions in the User Manual are somewhat confusing.  Can someone please recommend a step-by-step procedure?  Thanks in advance!

I would go to the Score Manager and mute all voices except Soprano, then make the audio file. Repeat the procedure for A T and B in turn.

It might be easier to Solo the Soprano, etc. rather than muting all the other voices--fewer clicks. Just a suggestion.

I have a similar problem with a score that I created with PrintMusic 2007.  The problem in this case is that, when I attempt to import this file into Finale 25, it makes so many changes in the score that I would almost need to redo the score from scratch!  Is there any way I can separate and record each voice track in PrintMusic 2007?

If I remember correctly, you can do it in the Instrument List.

What changes are you seeing? I can’t imagine what would be changing the notes.

What you can't do is export the audio as separate tracks simultaneously. That's a DAW function not found in Finale.

It's one track at a time. Either solo one or mute the others.

You can export the MIDI and sync a DAW through Rewire. Some DAWs such as Logic support MusicXML import also. You can assign 3rd party or the DAW's libraries in the DAW.

GIFF which can only be used in Finale. In the same way, Apple's libraries can only be used within Logic/GarageBand/MainStage. GPO, being 3rd party, can be used within Finale or Logic.

What happens is that, when I import the PrintMusic 2007 file into Finale 25.5, it shifts the texts of the lyrics one NOTE to the right, thus throwing them out of sync with the notes.  Also, in several instances, when I tell it to slow down, it does so--but then it fails to resume the original tempo, despite my inserting the correct indications to do so in the score..  Finally, I want to export a separate MIDI part for each vocal line for rehearsal purposes.  How do I go about doing all of this?  I apologize for the multiple problems, but it's been so long since I created the original score that to have all of this occur at once is driving me wild!

You will probably get a better range of responses to this new problem if you start a new thread with a more informative subject line.

You should be able to force a return to the original tempo by inserting a tempo expression (not a tempo) set to a specific playback speed on the Playback Tab of the Expression Edit panel. IOn the off chance that that doesn't work, you will need to Select All and use Clear Selected Items to clear all the  MIDI Tempo data.
