Hi.  I'm using MAC OS 10.11.6 El Capitain with Finale 2012.  EVERY single time I click PLAYBACK, the program crashes and shuts down.  Please help.  Thank you

Finale 2012 is not compatible with El Capitan, as you've found out. The problem is Human Playback. If you can get along without HP, turn it off and playback will be OK. In the long run, I think you might be better off upgrading to Finale 25.

Yes...Just found out.  Thanks for this advice.  WIll try it now.  But yes...upgrading seems to be the best route.  Have you experienced any issues with Finale 25?

Finale 25 seems to be stable and fast, in my experience.

Many thanks for the fast responses.  Human playback off fixed the issue for now.  But will upgrade anyway.  Thanks.
