Is there no way to have crescendos and diminuendos not snap to beats? To be free floating? It's incredibly annoying to have them snap to beats and then continually have to nudge and adjust them. Is there no way to remove this feature?

Uncheck Snap When Attaching to Beats. They will still be attached to the beats, but you can control the placement. See the help file screenshot.
