Poor Bass Voice Upper Range in Garritan Personal Orchestra

I read the detailed "fix" for the bass voice range, but it is much too technical for me.

Why can't MakeMusic fix this range problem in the next update to Finale 25? Why should users have to deal with this at all??

I shouldn't have to do this myself, and besides, I would probably screw it up if I tried.

There is no link. The problem is in the Garritan software. The solo bass voice in The Garritan Personal Orchestra does not go high enough, only to about A below middle C. It should go to D ABOVE Middle C.

Where did you read about the fix that was too complicated, then? I think that is what Mike H was asking for.

Someone a couple days ago responding to my ORIGINAL post left a message, many many words long with extremely technical details on how to "fix" the GPO5 Bass range problem. I don't save these posts. But it was ridiculously long and complex and way beyond my poor abilities.

Must be on another site that allows PM's. Too bad Richard didn't copy it here so we could actually have a chance to help him.

I've seen what I think were posts on how to extend sfz-style ranges, but I'm not going on a wild good chase to look for it. My time does have limits.

There are many complaints about this. Many more on the Garritan section of this board. I do quite a few choral mockups but avoid GPO 5 for that reason.
