Showing a key signature for a mallet part within a non-pitched percussion part

I have a non-pitched percussion part that has a few measures within it that cover a chimes part. I'm not getting results when I convert the measures to treble clef and then use the measure tool to show a key signature. The Treble clef shows but the key signature doesn't. Any suggestions?

You probably need to apply a custom staff style to the “few measures”, to make them display a key signature.

In the definition for your custom staff style, pay attention to the option

“Ignore Key Signatures” (in the pane Behaviors)

and the option

“Key Signatures” (in the pane Items to Display)
