I would like to take the notes from two staves/ instruments and combine into one. Is this possible?  

I want to take the two violin staves and make them into one without retyping all the notes.

Could you use layers to make that happen? Transfer all of the notes in the 2nd violin staff to Layer 2, then switch to "View Active Layer Only" and paste it into the 1st violin part, then turn off "View Active Layer Only".  Then deal with individual issues as they come up. Let me know if that helps!

i haven't worked with those. I need to see how that works. Do you mean voices as layers...the little 1234 at the bottom left?

Yea I believe I found it, though a little messy.  It's choose both staves then go to Implode Music under the Utilities Menu. Yea!
