Is there a way in Finale 2014.5 to mark where changes were made since a previous version? It would be nice if the instrumentalists could see at a glance on a page where changes were made.I'm willing to mark them manually, but I can't find a way to do it other than making a text block over each changed measure. I'd like to be able to change the note colors or color the staff background, for example.

You could designate a smart shape (dished line?) and draw it above changed sections (if they aren't too long) or you could put symbols ("cut" symbols? or the like) that would not play back at each end of a change.

J Adrian,

Thanks, I think the symbol idea is workable. I'll try it. It's too bad that Finale doesn't support something like "versions" like Sibelius that I used to use.
