I have to put the Master Volume to maximum (100) in order to hear al the parts. Is that just the way it works? I am running Windows 10 and Finale version 26.

Some instruments may simply be louder than others. You may have to make adjustments in the mixer.

You might try reducing the level of some louder instruments instead of increasing. You will probably have to increase the volume control on your speakers, though.

You may want to buy Note Performer 4 to replace the default Finale sounds. NP4 is tons better than Garritan.
