Now that Make Music has ceased supporting Finale I don't know how the authorization works.
If and when I need to reinstall Finale 27 on the same pc it is now, will I be able to do so?

Support will end in August 2025. MM have said that they will keep the authorization servers running "for the foreseeable future" beyond that. 

If the existing authorization survives on your disk, (in the Registry?), then reinstalling should not require authorization. (I'll admit I'm a Mac user, so guessing that things are broadly similar.)

If you wipe the disk and then reinstall, then it's likely that you will need to re-authorize from the MM servers.

The short answer is Yes. The license manager will allow unlimited authorizations to the same PC or Mac.
