I have researched this question on this forum but have been unable to find a solution. I have created pedal marks for piano on the score but during playback there is clearly no sustain. I have HP enabled. My playback piano is the Steinway coming from the Aria player. Is there a fix for this?

Same problem here, I'm on the same version mentioned here, but on Windows. You ever figure it out?

How did you enter the Ped. indication. Did you use the SmartShape Tool or the Articulation Tool?

What HP setting did you use?

 

I found that no matter how I entered the Ped. markings, using the Standard HP setting and either the standard Piano from the included GIfF Aria instruments or a Steinway from GPO 5, I do get the pedal effect.

 

(Is the instrument marked as Piano in the left-hand column of the Score Manager? That can affect HP application.)
