Hi all 

I would like to add a (thin thin) double bar line to indicate a new section. I have searched through the Help and Manual and cannot find the answer. I had this problem a few years back and I was told to right-click on the measure and select double bar from there --- AND IT WORKED!! But after trying this now, there is no double bar option without it being a Repeat variation.

Not to be flip, but I opened the user manual and in the search window I put in "double bar line" (it should have been double barline) and the answer came up.

 

But you're correct about right clicking, make sure you're using the selection tool (or measure tool) when you right click on a measure.

Sounds like you were in the Repeat Tool.

 

Instead, try from the Measure Tool.

Or from the Selection Tool.
