I intentionally deleted a plug in VST.  

Whenever I open the file i get this message

But I don't have this anywhere in the VST banks.  Why is the message still there every time I open it, and how do I remove it?

 

In other words, when the message says 'some sounds used in this document'. its simply not true (even though this doc previously used it.

IOW, this plugin that Finale is looking for is NOWHERE in the Score manager. Not used in the doc. Why would the program be looking for it?

Correct.  But if I remove it from the score, then it should not look for it, no?

It depends. Obviously, it’s looking for it.

 

If one of the Windows users doesn’t have the solution, you can ask MM Support directly through the Submit a request link at the top of the page. If it was on a Mac, I’d have better answers. Sorry.
