Tie key (=)

Windows 10,Finale MST When copying music into Finale 26 I would like to leave my left hand on the numerical keyboard while I play the midi keyboard with my right hand. When entering a tie I have to move my left hand off of the numerical keyboard but if the "tie" key was a 0 I could continue without stopping to find the (=) key.

You could also use the T key for the same purpose.

*T* is still on the other side of the computer keyboard—farther than (=).

I don't know much about PCs, but can't you define a shortcut that triggers = or T ? Or better, their menu equivalents (in Speedy or Simple). A function key ?

Autohotkey, TG Tools ?
