I would like to make some edits on one of the Brahms solo piano works. Does anyone know if there is a resource that has these works already entered into Finale files? Alternatively, Is there a service where you can order such a file? Or perhaps someone here would do it for a small fee? I tried to enter it as a midi file but there were a million mistakes.
This is not MuseScore whose business model appears to be a) give the app away b) encourage everyone to upload their work with no compensation c) charge for the privilege of downloading this content that was acquired at no cost.
As there are serious copyright issues involved, I just say No.
As a published composer I am a strong supporter of copyrights. I am talking about a piece from the 1800's. I am not uploading it to any type of service, just looking for a way out of having to enter the piece note for note into Finale. I recently did do that with another classical piece in public domain. It took me a very long time and I still made many mistakes despite checking it over several times. So I figured there might be a resource that already has some public domain pieces in Finale, or perhaps there was an expert willing to do it who could do it much quicker and more precisely. No harm meant.

True, but it is not only scannings of old editions.
Some of the scores have also been typeset, and exported as PDF.
With the program PDFtoMusic Pro you can convert the PDF “back” to a MusicXML file - and then import that MusicXML into Finale.
This method is less error prone than using a Music OCR program.
