Copy and paste without retranscribing to "default" beaming

After tweaking (breaking/attaching) the beaming within a figure, it would be great to copy and paste it without Finale retranscribing it to the default metrical beaming. The latter forces you to re-enter everything, again, and that contradicts the whole point of copy/paste. Here's an example:

Have you tried to use Edit Filter, where you can apply the copy only to beamings and secondary beamings ?

You could also try the JW plug-ins : JW Pattern, JW Rhythm Copy to define a source and a destination.

Michel, Thanks for the idea. Edit Filter didn't work. Did it work for you? Interestingly, copy/paste works for this (retaining custom beaming) when copying an entire measure to another measure, but not from one beat to another within the same measure. I'll see what JW might do.
