I am on a Mac, using Finale 26 and planning an upgrade to a new iMac. The main problem is that Quickeys will not be supported by latest Macs. What other software are people using today to do similar tasks? The free offers I’ve seen don’t do the job.

If you were using Quick keys for shortcut keys, you can remap (most of) them to the built-in Mac keyboard shortcuts. If you were using QK for more involved macros, I don’t know what to suggest. A lot of folks use FinaleScript or JW Lua, but that’s pretty much out of my league.

Keyboard Maestro is the absolute winner for Mac. Covers everything Quickeys used to do and much more, and is the ideal companion for Finale. Works flawlessly and slickly through to the latest OS versions. http://www.keyboardmaestro.com/

Is Keyboard Maestro compatible with Finale 27 and latest Mac OS?

With Big Sur, yes (confirmed on their website). And it works with all types of programs, so there shouldn't be any problem with Finale 27.

And you can apply the Finale shortcuts to a range of Finale versions.
