Is there really no way to disable this warning message?  It appears others have been asking for years.  It is insane.  Why would you not at least give people the option of disabling this?  I can do my own proofreading.

And a quick follow-up.  How could something like this even be possible in a professional notation program?  I notice someone else also posted a similar screenshot.  (It also freezes your screen so you have to log out.)

I use speedy entry, and right in the menu is "check for extra notes". If you uncheck that option you shouldn't see these messages.

Thank you, that works.  I had unchecked in simple entry options, but not in speedy entry.  I appreciate your help.

I want to know when I'm leaving a measure with too many beats, but I don't want the window to pop up.  A simple chime would be a nice option.
