Installed Finale 27 on powerful laptop. Windows 11. Takes a very long time for program to launch.

Anyone?

All I can say is, on my plain vanilla Dell desktop with WIn 10 it loads normally. Perhaps some setting you have in Win11?

Your virus software?  Try turning it off.

Make sure you have 27.2.

I figured it out. Finale did not like Asio. Changed to direct sound. Which is fine, as I'm not using an external sound card for this laptop. Works now. Ty
