I can get sounds with Note Performer, and also Garritan, but I cannot hear any sound if I try to input percussion with Smart Music Soft Synth. Did you find a solution to your problem?

There should be a serial number on the package if you installed from that. Alternatively, sign on to Finale and look for your purchased products, which should lead you to the SN.
