I would suggest that you save up a few extra bucks and get the full Finale. PrintMusic was stopped at 2014, and it probably won't be developed further. Why buy instant obsolescence?

And just out of curiosity, where did you buy it? It's no longer available from MakeMusic, although some stores may have old stock still on hand.
Simple Entry? Speedy? MIDI input? Mouse? QWERTY keyboard? Have you restarted the computer? Recreated the Preferences?
