I think there is a problem with the player controls. Other people are experiencing problems, as well. I expect they will get it sorted out, eventually. I certainly would not let this discourage me ...

It's most likely related to how the time signature is set up. Go to the Edit Time Signature... window. Take a screen shot, and post it for us to look at!

So what is the problem? The octaves? That's easy to change. (I'm not arguing or disputing; as I said, I don't understand transposing instruments. I'm just trying to wrap my head around the issue....

A couple of things... First, Music to XML is, I fear, a waste of money. The professional versions give you the opportunity to edit the scan, BEFORE bringing it into Finale. Many, many problems are ...

Richard, Glad we could help. If you decide to go to the full Finale, remember that there is an academic/theological discount. If you can qualify for either of these, it eases the pain!
